Seeing the green garbed pines,
you think you’ve been in the woods.
Fearing what you might find in the shadows,
you avoid walking among the tall trees.
But come under the canopy,
come among the shifting lights,
where slugs and snakes lurk,
and there you will find me, too.
Dressed in my finest pink,
I am worth the journey.
